Welcome To Pre-K

Dear Parents,

Happy Catholic Schools Week!  I want to take this opportunity to thank you for sending your sons and daughters to my Pre-K class.  This week I always like to take time to step back and appreciate allI  those energetic eager little faces that greet me everyday. They are so interested in learning new things, playing with their friends and meeting new challenges with such vigor and eagerness. They truly bring joy to my heart and a great big smile on my face. All of us here in the Pre-K class enjoy being with them.Thank you for the sacrifices you make to send them here. It will trully make a difference in their lives.
We are studying "Pairs Of Things".  The children are having so much fun with this concept.  They see pairs everywhere!  We will be reading Noah"s Ark this week and making a project to help them understand this story better.  Jan Brett's story Armadillo Rodeo will give the children an opportunity to design a pair of cowboy boots, and they already made a pair of mittens from the story The Mitten .
Please take every opportunity to reinforce the skills being taught.  It really helps to make the connection from school to home.
Don't forget to register for next year!
