Kindergarten Updates

Notes From Kindergarten

Coming back from April vacation marks the home stretch in our school year. These next several weeks of school are packed with many events and they will slide by quickly. In the classroom we are still trying to focus on doing our best work. We are starting to look like we are almost ready for First Grade.

On Friday we baptized 7 dolls. We had everyone involved as a parent, godparent or an altar server.
It was probably a little bit noisier than a real Baptism ceremony, but the children seemed to be eager to participate. Please show you child pictures of their own Baptism, if they are available and talk with them about what it means to you and your family.

Show and Tell
We will continue with Show and Tell until the last week of school.
They are each given a day of the week to bring in something to show. Please try to guide them to bring in something that will be interesting or educational. It should be non-breakable and able to fit in their backpack. Please do not send toys that contain weapons.
Monday - Calista, Adeline, Haiden, Christopher, Jonah, Christina
Tuesday - Anaya, Alexa, Evan, Claire, Brianna, Devin
Wednesday - Christian, Julia, Zachary, Nicholas, Haylee
Thursday - Juliana, Ryan, Olivia, Noah O., Ronald
Friday - Nathan, Noah S., Brendon, Roslyn, Donovan

Grandparents Day
On Friday, May 4th, we will honor our grandparents at the 11:00am Mass at St. Clement's Church. The students in grades K - 8 will go to the church by bus. Grandparents may meet us at the church and their grandchildren may sit with them. After Mass the children will go back to school on the bus and grandparents may meet us at school for lunch.

There will be NO HOT LUNCH available on this day. Everyone must supply their own food.
If the weather is good we may eat outside. You may need to ask grandparents to bring a blanket or a folding chair.

If the grandparents have more than one grandchild in the school then they will all eat with the oldest grandchild's class.

We realize that many grandparents may not be able to attend for various reasons; work, distance, etc.The Kindergarten children know that not everyone's grandparents will be there. We tell them not to worry because all three of their teachers are grandparents and will certainly sit with them.

ANNIE Jr.
On Friday, May 4 at 7:30PM and also on Sat., May 5 at 2:30, the play Annie Jr. will be presented by the group of students who work with Mr. JP. The play will be presented at Winman Jr. High School Auditorium.
Some of the Kindergarten children are in the cast.
